Training Awareness & Internal Auditor ISO

On August 26-27, 2024, PT EBARA Indonesia successfully conducted an Internal Awareness & Internal Auditor Training attended by 32 employees. Held at the PT EBARA Indonesia Training Room in Cimanggis, the session was led by Eko Sri Wibowo from DSY Consulting, an expert with extensive experience in quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.

Why Is This Training Important? In an era of globalization and increasing industry competition, having a robust management system that meets international standards is crucial. Standards like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 are globally recognized frameworks that ensure companies can meet customer needs, preserve the environment, and protect employee health and safety.

The Internal Awareness & Internal Auditor Training aims to equip PT EBARA Indonesia employees with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively implement and audit these management systems. The training was divided into two main components: Awareness Training and Internal Auditor Training.

Training Content Overview

1. Introduction to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 In this session, participants were introduced to the basics of these three international standards. ISO 9001:2015 focuses on quality management systems, ISO 14001:2015 on environmental management systems, and ISO 45001:2018 on occupational health and safety management systems. Participants learned how to effectively apply these standards in their workplace.
2. Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Environmental Aspect Identification, and Relevant Quality Issue Identification After understanding the fundamentals of ISO, participants were taught how to identify hazards and assess risks, as well as how to identify relevant environmental aspects and quality issues in the workplace. This activity is crucial to ensuring the company can mitigate risks while maximizing product quality and environmental sustainability.
3. Audit Techniques and In-depth ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Training In this session, participants delved deeper into audit techniques aligned with ISO standards. They learned how to conduct effective internal audits, focusing on compliance with standards, continuous improvement, and identifying areas for improvement.
4. Practice on Conducting Opening Meetings, Interview Techniques, Document Audits, and Closing Meetings To complement technical skills, participants were also trained to carry out the entire audit process from start to finish. This included how to conduct an opening meeting, perform interview techniques, audit documentation, and compile reports, as well as how to effectively close the audit with a closing meeting.
